About the Item

Glazed stoneware Abstract sculpture or vase. Definitely representing a woman's bust, or let your imagination run wild. Superb work of modeling and cooking (certainly over a wood fire), the colors obtained are incredible. This work is unique, signed in two places (signed at the hollow point on the back and signed under the base in ink). The signature is PAT 73. This very expressive sculpture was made in 1973 in one of the many pottery workshops located in the small village of La Borne in France. The artist is to be identified. France in 1973
