About the Item

Minimal, graphic bottle-shaped vase was hand thrown and decorated with monochromatic cobalt blue semi-matte glaze on both inner and outer surfaces. It is signed by the artist and marked with Double RR logo mark as a work of Roycroft Artisan (The Roycrofters-At-Large Association (RALA) owns U.S. Reg 3358572 for the Double R Logo) on the bottom, which indicates that the vase was made by Mark in his NYS studio during his tenure in RALA. Mark Klammer is an established Western New York ceramics artist who founded Mark Klammer Pottery studio in Hammondsport, NY and became a Roycroft Artisan before relocating to Key West, FL and opening Shade and Shutter gallery.
