About the Item

This unique piece is part of The Table Project, a collaborative initiative developed in Spain in 2024. Originally designed by Isidro Blasco, the work has been reinterpreted by Sandra Rein, a painter from Seville known for her pursuit of “lightness” in painting. Her work is inspired by movements such as Arts and Crafts, and is characterized by elegant geometric designs and harmonious color palettes. In this vase, Rein applies a graphic composition of three undulating lines—yellow, ochre, and black—that move up and down the body of the piece, creating a visual rhythm reminiscent of sound waves. Set against a pristine white background, the irregularly drawn lines produce a sense of light and engaging movement, emphasizing the verticality of the vase while offering a subtle contrast. About Sandra Rein Sandra Rein’s work draws inspiration primarily from the aesthetics of decorative art movements such as Arts and Crafts, which flourished across Europe at the end of the 19th century and into the 20th. Based on geometric variations, her elegant designs result in ceramic works noted for their harmony in both color and form. About The Table Project The Table Project is an initiative by artist Isidro Blasco. From his studio located in the Carabanchel neighborhood of Madrid, a series of projects have been developed with the aim of creating unique artistic objects and fostering collaboration among local artists. Since 2019, The Table Project has promoted creative encounters rooted in the artisanal traditions so characteristic of Spanish culture, but approached from a contemporary perspective. With the spirit of building community and one-of-a-kind artistic pieces, the project has created a space where multidisciplinary artists come together to produce handcrafted works within the context of contemporary art. The Table Project is the personal endeavor of Isidro Blasco, who launched it after spending 25 years living in New York, as a way to connect traditional craftsmanship with the vibrancy of contemporary creation.
