Meindert Zaalberg hand signed purple metallic glazed studio pottery vase. The Netherlands, 1926-1962. Beautiful modernist studio pottery vase by Meindert Zaalberg. Personal work, hand signed. This signature he used for his personal unique pottery items between 1926-1962. Great purple metallic glaze which gets more interesting every time when you look at it. Wonderful tactile surface and rich color with a deep glow. Simple design with a very delicate bending upper rim. The inside is purple at the top, but shifts to a wonderful sand color. In a very good vintage shape. Â
