About the Item

This ceramic vase is actually composed of two vases riveted together, having each their own shape, color and style. One is triangular matte black and handleless and only glazed on the inside. The other is round, and shiny red matte with a square unglazed handle. Together they are one now, but that may not have just happened. The styles clash somewhat. Within the world of Memphis styled design all these differences are rather a plus. Different colors and forms complete a good design piece. A nice bunch of flowers with lots of green will cause an even closer harmony. This vase was made in the 1980s by ceramist Wilma van der P. as you can see on the bottom.
