Michael Andersen Vase with Owl Ornaments, Denmark

About the Item

Rare pair of Michael Andersen ceramic vases with four owls as decoration on each vase, both of the vases have the classic blymajolika glaze which Michael Andersen is well known for. These vases are made in the early years of the workshop and are therefore not stamped. A similar vase is presented in the collection of Michael Andersen at Vejen Kunst museum, this vase is also presented in the book from 2008 by Vejen Kunst Museum called Keramik i lange baner. The vase is the perfect detail for any style of interior from a classic Scandinavian style of interior to a more modern style of interior or even a more Art deco inspired style of interior. The vases are in good original condition with light signs of use.
