Mid-Century Fat Lava Studio Ceramic Vase, Red Zebra by 'Foreign' 1960s, Germany

About the Item

Funky red and white zebra striped mid-century ceramic vase featuring the famous German mid-century ''Fischmaul'' (fish mouth) rim. Marked ''Foreign'' it is attributed to Jasba Keramik, Western Germany around 1960. Fat Lava glaze with firery red and white stripes with the light beige-grey base ceramic shining through. The inner is a warm yellow. Hand painted and labelled ''Foreign, 521/16''.
