About the Item

Outstandingly beautiful small collection of handcrafted ceramic vases produced in West Germany circa the 1950s and 1960s. All the pieces are special and unique for its shape, design, color and texture. Carefully curated around the shades and tones off the glazing or decorating techniques, the unique design lines and the way they all work together. The array of pale dusty pistachio, matte army green, beige, sand and terracota, with a light touch of matte gold and cream, make this collection so unique and outstandingly beautiful and elegant. Ideal to decorate the top of a sideboard, a chest of draws, a fire place top, a cabinet or a large coffee table. Measurements, creators and makers: (left to right first opening picture) 1- AKRU Klinker Ceramic Vase form 14/20 height: 20cm/ 8in - width: 15cm/ 6in, perimeter: 44cm/ 17.25in (all the way around the widest part) 2- Scheurich Ceramics Foreign Range Jug form 215-20 height: 20cm/ 8in - width: 8cm/ 3.25in 3 - Sgrafitto Hand Decorated Akru Klinker Ceramic Jug Vase by Alfred Krupp form 119/30, height: 30cm/ 11.75in - width 20.50cm/ 8in - base width 11cm/ 4.6in - perimeter 56cm/ 22in (all the way around the widest part). Large piece. 4- Dümler & Breiden Ceramic Jug form 1263/16 (it resembles a little yellow bird). Height: 16cm/ 6.25in, length 16cm/ 6.25in, width 14cm/ 5.4in 5- Bay Keramik Ancient Look Vase Designed by Bodo Mans, form 72-20.
