About the Item
This quite large and substantial studio art pottery vase was done by Theo and Susan Harlander of Brooklin Ontario Canada in circa 1965 in the period Mid-Century Modern style. This art pottery vase is done in muted pastel glazes on a cream ground and decorated with stylized people, horses and birds using sgraffito techniques. This vase stands just over two feet in height and is clearly signed on the base "T&S Harlander, Brooklin. Ont. Canada".
