Modernist Charcoal Hue Ceramic Orchid Vase/Occasional Bowl
About the Item
This refined modernist orchid vase/ occasional bowl was realized in the United States during the latter half of hte 20th century. Realized in ceramic and finished with a charcoal hued glaze, this piece features an oblong body with curved sides that cantilever of a base of the same color and form. The result is an object that is at once sumptuous, organic, austere, elegant and unquestionably compelling. Its monochromatic color palate and clean modernist lines make this piece as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It would be equally well suited for presenting orchids (or succulents) as well as any number of keepsakes. It is in excellent vintage condition.
