Unique Modernist polished Pewter sculptural vase by Mario Botta for Numa. Artist Proof prototype, signed by both manufacturer and artist.. This vase is a signed artist proof of vases as featured on the 'Tredici Vasi' (13 Vases) collection. The 'Tredici Vasi' is a limited edition collection of 13 large sized display vases made of hand polished pewter and designed by Switzerland based artist Mario Botta in 2006. Five of the works are produced in a 33-edition limited run by Numa Italy. Created by melting, fussing and moulding layers of thin pewter plates to form an exceptionally impactful and practical display vase. The pewter is hand brushed and polished to a lovely glow. This particular vase features a cylindrical 3 leaf clover shaped body. Ideal for flower arrangements or as a standalone display piece. It will complement most modern interiors. Artist & manufacturer signed on the base.
