About the Item
Beautiful vase from Murano manufacturing, classic amphora design. Very light, thin and delicate, with a beautiful bright yellow color that stands out on a black base.
The Murano vase, blown completely by hand, is of an unprecedented lightness; characteristic of the Murano glassworks of that period. Almost spherical in shape, reminiscent of a flattened Roman jar. Its color has a black base with light yellow vertical streaks. Internally it was lined with white glass. Cased glass is a type of glass similar to submerged glass, but usually thinner. The object is thus made up of various layers of different thickness and color which create incredible chromatic effects. In this way, you will obtain a thin puff of two or more layers of different colors.
