Vivarini La Formia Murano Art Glass Violet Red and White Vase, 1980
About the Item
Fantastic vase from the Murano glassworks, both for its particular workmanship and for the colour, in fact the vase is red and violet in color and has a white internal lining, called "incamiciato". The Murano furnaces create an indisputable timeless design, simple but elegant at the same time.
Murano vase, with particular workmanship all around. Round section vase in the shape of an amphora with a beautiful neck, with a particular manual workmanship in stripes of three colours, white, red and violet. Due to its heaviness and the thickness of the glass it seems almost "submerged". Instead, it is "Incamiciato" which means that the workmanship is very similar, but that it is two double-blown glasses of different colours, in this case red and violet in glass paste and white in glass paste. Refinement and class as is the Murano style, unique pieces that always remain precious.
