About the Item
Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown rainbow or colors and aventurine flecks ribbons Italian art glass handkerchief / fazzoletto vase. Created in the manner of Venini and the Fratelli Toso company. The vase is made with swirling white, orange, teal blue, sapphire blue, red and copper aventurine flecks ribbons, creating a unique alternating pattern. The vase also has an applied white glass rim that goes around 4 times. You can see it on the close up photos of the rim. It has a pontil mark as well as a polished underside. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Fill it with flowers, or show it as a sculptural piece in your home. Mid-century era. Measures 6 3/4" long x 6 3/4" wide x 4 1/2" tall.
