Murano Red White Stripes Italian Art Glass Thin Soliflore Specimen Flower Vase
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown multi-color vertical stripes Italian art glass soliflore / specimen flower vase. The vase has a rainbow of colors, with cobalt blue, sky blue, bright red, pink, amethyst, bright yellow orange, and emerald green. The colors create an alternating pattern, with white canes separating each color. The vase has a very thin and long neck, with flared pit rim. The body is a teardrop shape at the bottom. It does not have a ribbed surface, but you can feel each cane piece. Has a pontil mark on the bottom. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-Century era. Measures 11" tall x 3" wide.
