Murano Signed Gold Flecks Black White Italian Art Glass Fazzoletto Flower Vase
About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown gold flecks over black and white Italian art glass flower vase. The piece has a fazzoletto / handkerchief shape. The vase is signed "Murano" underneath and has an Artist name to the side as well. I cannot make out the name on the signature. The black color is made with very dark purple, so when stretched out, you can see the purple color (as with the bottom of the piece). Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee table or credenza. Fill it with flowers, or showcase it as a sculptural piece. Late Mid-century era. A similar vase, in shape, color and design is actually photographed on the Seguso Vetri d'Arte book (page 207). Measures: 7 5/8" tall x 7 1/4"long x 6 1/4" wide.
