Murano Vintage Green Iridescent Gold Flecks Italian Art Glass Flared Flower Vase
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso green, gold flecks and controlled bubbles Italian art glass flower vase with iridescent surface. Attributed to the Barovier e Toso company. The vase has a crimped fan shaped scalloped rim, with ribbed surface to the body, and an applied clear foot with bubbles. When the light hits it right, it catches the iridescent / Aurene surface, showing a rainbow of colors. There is gold leaf throughout the inside as you can see in the close up photos. Created with thick glass. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or coffee table. Fill it with flowers or keep it as a sculptural piece to display in your home. Mid-century era. Measures 8 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" across the top.
