About the Item
A good pair of antique early 19th century Ottoman Islamic Iznik/Kutahya pottery bottle vases, Turkey, circa 1820.
The vases of bottle form with a flared mouth and tapering neck, having globular shaped bases and raised on a circular flared foot. Each vase having vertical and horizontal profusely decorated floral panels, the globular bases having alternating sky blue and dark blue panels. Both vases are in good condition.
