Truly beautiful pair of white porcelain vases from the Empire period .The main face of each vase is decorated by gorgeous hand-painted seascapes representing sailboats on the ocean and near the coast. These large painted cartouches are outlined by gold on top and bottom. Each vase has gilded Griffin shaped handles and rests on a raised foot supported by a square base itself on four claw feet.
