About the Item
This striking pair of vases was designed by Eva Jancke Björk and produced by Bo Fajans in Sweden in the late 1930s. Both are marked with production numbers on the underside.
Each vase is finished in a soft beige glaze with a delicate crackle surface, accented by dark green handles and a vivid turquoise rim. The two vases are of the same design in different sizes, creating a harmonious graduated pair.
Eva Jancke Björk (1882–1981) was a Swedish ceramist and designer, celebrated for her refined forms and subtle, expressive glazes. She was among the leading artists at Bo Fajans during the early 20th century, helping to establish the factory’s reputation for high-quality artistic ceramics.
