Raku ceramic vase designed by André Sas
About the Item
Design vase in raku ceramics designed by André Sas. Raku was developed in the 16th century in Japan by the Raku family. Traditionally, this technique was only used for making tea bowls. After firing, the bowl was simply cooled in the open air, creating mainly black and brown colors. Dutch ceramicist André Sas works according to the above principle. He adds a touch of artistic creativity, translated by colors and shapes inspired by the universe.
