A rare pair of Derby yellow ground Egyptian revival vases c.1805-1810

About the Item

A rare pair of Derby porcelain Duesbury & Kean period yellow ground Egyptian revival vases c.1805-1810. Of tapering form with serpent handles, painted in black and gilt with Egyptian motifs, the shoulder with imitation hieroglyphs below a marbled section and key pattern border, the lower part also marbled, iron red crowned crossed baton and D marks. Condition: Hairline crack to the rim of one vase and a hairline crack to the stem of one vase
