Salvo "U Pulparu" Street Vendor of Octopus Head Vase

About the Item

An ideal piece to accent coastal decors, this sophisticated design in fine matte white ceramic is simultaneously a vessel and a simply decorative anthropomorphic head. It showcases a male face - inspired by Salvo, a street vendor of octopus ("u pulparu" in Sicilian dialect) - with a 3D octopus adorning its side up to the rim. Finished with crystalline, enamels in shades of azure, turquoise, and red are used to accent the mustache, the lips, and the minutely-detailed octopus.
