Set of two Mid-Century Holmegaard Gulv-Vases by Otto Brauer, in deep Cobalt Blue. These typical Danish Modern glass bottle vases were manufactured by Kastrup Holmegaard in Denmark during the 1950s or 1960s. The original labels have fallen off. These should read "Kastrup Holmegaard - By Appointment to H.M. - The King Of Denmark - Made In Denmark". These vases would make great display pieces on your sideboard or your library. Can be used empty, just as sculptural elements, or filled with flowers or dried botanical elements. The Gulvvase was originally designed by Otto Brauer in 1935. Sizes: 1x height 11.81" (30cm) / diameter 4.72" (12cm) 1x height 10.04" (25,5cm) / diameter 3.54" (9,5cm) The smaller vase has an air inclusion in the glass which is very common. It has scratches on a small area. Some dirt in the vases, but this is barely visible when placed.
