Sven Hofverberg (1923–1998) was a Swedish ceramist, born in Växjö. He started his own ceramics business in Växjö in 1949. In 1958, he became the artistic director of Stavangerflint in Norway, where he worked until the mid-1960s. He then returned to Sweden and established his own studio in Landskrona, where he remained active for the rest of his life.
Hofverberg was known for his stoneware pieces, often featuring cobalt and oxblood glazes. His work is part of the Nordic ceramic tradition, which strives for perfection in stoneware objects. He participated in both national and international exhibitions, including in Tokyo in 1972 and 1973. Today, his works are highly sought after by collectors.
