About the Item

Three Scandinavian Modern, "Swedish Modern" Våga vase with Carrara glaze. Designed by Wilhelm Kåge, circa 1930s. Made in Gustavsberg, Sweden. Marked with Gustavsberg logo. The vases features a pinched, crenellated top and a tapering body. Wonderful used as a flowerpot with "Lily of the valley". From the book Swedish Modern, with an introduction by Hedvig Hedqvist: Objects from the series Våga in carrara goods, designed by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg, 1950. The series Våga came in the aftermath of Surrea. The series is characterized by its wave edges and organic shapes. We have other white Gustavsberg pieces available. Look at the last photo.
