Verrrerie d'Art Lorrain Art Deco Glass Vase, 1925

About the Item

A Verrerie D'Art Lorraine glass vase with wrought iron armour in the Majorelle style, from Croismare, near Nancy, one of the hubs of glass manufacturing. It features a pink and purple marbled upper body with a grayish green background, all wrapped in a serpentine metal net and a mark «Verrerie Française» and the cross of Lorraine, as seen in the last photo. The Verrerie d'Art Lorraine was a Daum brand created by Paul Daum and Pierre D'Avesn at the Belle Etoile glassworks in Croismare
