By 1948, they began their own production of household ceramics. In 1954, Alois Scheurich founded Scheurich Keramikfabrik KG. Heinz Siery, who joined Scheurich in 1955, introduced new production methods and designs, making Scheurich the leading producer of ceramics during the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Today, Scheurich is the market leader for indoor pots and accessories for flowers and plants in Europe.
