WMF Art Deco Patinated Bronze Ikora Vase
About the Item
Lovely WMF German Art Deco (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) patinated bronze Ikora vase decorated with a stylized trailing flower vines and and butterfly designs by Paul Haustein (1880-1944) and dating from around 1920. The rounded bulbous shaped vase stands on a narrow rounded foot with a wide rounded neck. The body of the vase has a patinated and silver gilt metal design of floral vines and butterflies extending around the body of the vase on a wonderful green ground. The vase has an impressed WMF IKORA mark to the base.
