An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Edward VIII sterling silver serving waiters - boxed; an addition to our silver tray, salver and platter collection These exceptional antique Edward VIII sterling silver serving waiters have a hexagonal form, in the classic early 18th century style. The surfaces of these antique silver waiters are embellished with the contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a dragon. The fine and impressive raised borders are ornamented with applied moulded decoration to the rims. The impressive pair of sterling silver waiters are each supported by four cast button style feet. Each serving waiter is fitted with an exceptional cast silver handle, comprised of a circular handpiece to a scrolling bracket style terminal in junction with the aforementioned plain rim. These exceptional waiters are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, secured with a push fit catch. The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Collingwood (Jewellers) LTD, to the Royal Family, 46 Conduit St W'. These versatile antique style waiters could be used for a multitude of functions, including serving dishes, bon bon dishes and card trays. These exceptional handled waiters are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire. Condition These antique boxed silver serving waiters are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in superior condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each salver are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these fine examples of antique silverware. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver three piece condiment/cruet set - boxed; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian English sterling silver condiment set consists of a mustard pot and two condiment shakers. The shakers have a circular rounded form to a circular pedestal foot and the mustard pot has an oval form onto four bun style feet. The surface of each component is encircled with impressive pierced decoration, comprising interlacing arch and oval designs accented with circular motifs. The upper and lower portion of the mustard pot is further embellished with a gadroon decorated border, and the posterior surface bears a shaped sterling silver handle. The exceptional mustard pot is fitted with the original domed hinged cover, surmounted with baluster shaped finial. These condiment shakers each retain the original domed hallmarked push fit cover ornamented with pierced decoration. This is an exquisite and rare antique pair of English silver plated on copper entree dishes stamped Walker & Hall Sheffield Plate Old Style, and dated Circa 1860. The dishes are of rectangular shaped form with gaddrooned and acanthus leaf borders with detachable handles.
