A rare, unique and monumental three foot tall silver plate cocktail shaker by (possibly attributed to) Gorham in the form of a World War I era facsimile eighteen pound shrapnel artillery shell. This shaker dates to circa 1916 - 1920. This completely silverplated shaker comes with a twelve glass shot glass rack concealed in the lower portion of the shaker. The upper portion of the shaker is where the actual shaking happens. The very top of the shaker has a small button shaped lid that is removable to allow the liquid to pour. The nose fuse / timer on top has the facsimile numerical notations and secures the strainer, it is also removable to allow for the liquids to be poured into the shaker. The shaker fits into the lower portion that holds the rack. The shaker is marked on the underside, 'fac-simile eighteen pounder shrapnel shell' and 'patent applied for in America and foreign countries'. The very bottom of the lower portion is the base and is marked the same as the top. This is the absolute perfect focal point for your bar, either at home, office or for your business.
