Conquer one's thirst with this Art Deco-period silverplate cocktail shaker by Asprey & Co. Dubbed the "Thirst Extinguisher," this humorous shaker takes the form of an old fire extinguisher and features a rotating base that is engraved with a selection of classic cocktail recipes of the 20s and 30s. This particular model includes a handy cigar lighter.; simply unscrew the lid to uncover the wick. Such exceptional Art Deco wine and spirits accessories dating to the "golden age" of the cocktail have become some of the most sought-after and desired collectibles of the era. Stamped "A&Co / Asprey London". Circa 1932. Measures: 4 3/4" diameter x 15 3/4" high.
