About the Item

This stunning bottle holder or wine rack, whose design is attributed to French designer Mathieu Mategot (1910-2001), boasts an iconic 1950s work with black leather and pony skin fur. This typical combination is from the Horse Guard Collection, designed by Mategot in the period. The holder is meant to hold three bottles. There is no visible designer's mark. Dimensions: 7.88 in wide (20 cm) by 7.32 in deep (18.5 cm) by 10.25 in high (26 cm). Note: The wine bottle is not included in the sale.
