French Art Deco Macassar Wood, Metal and Crystal Condiment Server, 1930s
About the Item
This beautiful French Art Deco tableware server features crystal jars for preserves, pickles, or condiments, beautifully presented on a stand. The serving piece was crafted circa 1930. The serving accessory boasts a modernist construction with a Macassar wood and chrome geometric base complimented by a tall handle. There are two crystal-cut insert bowls with a square-shaped form. The containers are in Bohemian blown-crystal imported from Czechoslovakia (marked underside of each jar).
The Art Deco condiment service is in excellent condition, with no pronounced signs of wear.
Dimensions:
Overall: 8.50 in wide (21.5 cm) x 3.57 in deep (9 cm) x 8.25 in high (21 cm).
Jars are 2.95 in wide (7.5 cm) x 2.95 in deep (7.5 cm) x 4.32 in high (11 cm).
