About the Item

Product Description: This is a unique piece designed by arguably Sweden's most famous artist Lisa Larson. The signature of Lisa Larson and the hand of the studio Gustavsberg are clearly visible on the bottom of the piece. Although Lisa Larson is mostly known for the design of cute-looking animal figures this particular work incorporates many etching decorations and rough textures. This work shows the difference in styles mastered by Lisa Larson who besides the design of mass-produced items was able to produce original unique pieces as well. With a diameter of 27 centimeters the bowl is quite large. The bowl has an upward sloping edge that has not been glazed giving the bowl an organic feel. Product Condition: The item is in very good condition. All the imperfections on the item have been created during the production process. The natural imperfections are the pinhole-shaped dent in the glazing and some (natural) scratches on the back and front of the item (all have been fotographed). Weight: 1330g.
