Art Nouveau Gilded Bronze Serving Tray Platter with Iris Flowers, France 1910s

About the Item

This adorable large Art Nouveau serving tray or centerpiece was hand-crafted in France circa 1910. The impressive platter boasts an oval-shaped gilded bronze framing with fine detailing and is ornated with dimensional garlands of iris flowers. The design is characteristic of the Art Nouveau style aesthetic. There is no visible maker's mark. The felted underside has been fully restored to its original green condition. It will effectively protect your furniture pieces when using the tray. Good antique condition, with some shadow traces in the mirrored glass. Check the picture with a black marking. Some signs of aging and use and a slight verdigris patina on bronze, but it does not significantly affect the overall appearance. Measurements: 23.23 in wide (59 cm) x 16.57 in deep (42 cm) x 1.19 in high (3 cm). Note: Glasses are not included in the sale.
