Max Blondat (1872-1926) for Sèvres National Manufacture , « L'Équilibre » ou «Bébé Boule», 1925 A porcelain and biscuit table center-piece composed of a bowl holding a baby child in equilibrium on a ball. Signed «Max Blondat», stamp of Sèvres and monogram «HR». Circa 1925 This sculpture model was created by Max Blondat in 1925 especially for the fountain presented in front of the Pavillon du Collectionneur by Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann during the Decorative Arts Exhibition of 1925, of which Max Blondat was one of the main founders and protagonists, and edited by the Sèvres Manufacture as a center-piece.
