Neoclassical Style Continental Silver '.800' Centerpiece

About the Item

Neoclassical style, Continental Silver (.800) centerpiece, Germany, Ca. 1915, M.T. Wetzlar - maker. The white, frosted glass bowl is supported by four Continental Silver fluted columns. Measures 9 3/4 inches high x 10 inches diameter (across bowl); base is 5 inches in diameter. Underside of frosted glass bowl is diamond cut in design. This diamond cut pattern shows through the frosted glass. There are some very, very minor flakes on the underside of the bowl (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use. Dark spots in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
