This exquisite French centerpiece embodies the opulence and refinement of the late 19th century, crafted in the neoclassical Empire style. The structure features a beautifully detailed silver-plated base with fluted column supports and an intricately adorned frieze of swags and floral garlands in high relief, demonstrating the exceptional craftsmanship typical of the period.
Resting securely in the ornate mount is a removable cut crystal bowl, deeply etched with a classical laurel motif around the rim and an eight-pointed starburst at the base. The clarity and brilliance of the crystal perfectly complement the gleaming silver-plated frame, creating a striking interplay of materials and textures.
