Antique Podmore Walker Temple Pearl Stone Ware purple Transferware Plate - 1830

About the Item

A stunning lavender purple chinoiserie transferware salad or bread plate. This piece is over 200 years old and in miraculously good condition. It is in the "Temple" pattern, and the top of the plate is decorated with a chinoiserie design of temples, pagodas, and other stylized flora and fauna. The bottom is marked "Pearl Stone Ware, Temple, P.W. & Co." It was made by Podmore Walker & Co. in England, which later became Wedgwood. Dimensions: 7" Diameter .75" Tall
