Very rare Art Deco goldscheider ceramics figurine
The young lady with a brunette page-boy head, shown is the German actress Emmy Sturm (1900-1977), is wearing turquoise silk pajamas with turned-up hems in a multicolored floral pattern, standing with her legs apart and looking at the ground, she puts both hands in her jacket pockets.
On an oval, stepped base in cream color with gray shading on the wall. Artist's signature 'Dakon' on the top of the base.
Designed by Stephan Dakon (1904-1997), one of the most important designers
who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
Dakon designed this model circa 1926-1927.
