Rare Goldscheider Figurine of the 1930s The dancer has her hair covered with a headscarf and is wearing a bustier and a long, wide skirt with blue flowers and colorful butterflies. With her head turned to the left, her right arm raised behind her head and angled, she is in a crouching position with her left leg and left arm, following the leg, stretched far away from her. On a dark green rectangular base with beveled corners, signature 'Lorenzl' on the skirt hem on the back. Designed by Josef Lorenzl (1892-1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920-1940. This model 5963 was created circa 1929.
