Group of 6 Stig Lindberg Studio Ceramic Cabinet Bowls and Vases

About the Item

Beautiful group of unique, one-of-a-kind handmade pottery objects by master ceramists Stig Lindberg, for Gustavsberg, Sweden. The group includes two delicate bowls with haresfur glaze, one yellow and one brown, the yellow bowl with an interesting insert wood handle; two vases with textured surface, one cylindrical with blue glaze, the other footed, with a mottled brown glaze; together with a small pair of brown long-necked vases. Each example signed 'Stig L', most with the Gustavsberg Studio hand cipher, one with paper label. Yellow bowl is 1 7/8" high, 3 3/4" diameter. Brown bowl is 2 1/8" high, 4 1/4" diameter Tall blue vase is 4 7/8" high, 1 1/4" diameter. Large brown vase is 3 7/8" high, 4 1/2" diameter Matching brown vases: one is 2 1/4" high, the other 3 3/4" high, both are 2 1/4" diameter.

    Wear consistent with age and use. All in good condition, with small scattered surface scratches. The pair of vases have small bald glaze spots around the body, original to firing.
