About the Item
Fortunée Noël, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem in 2003, is a Franco-Israeli artist. Originally from the south of France, a native of Nice, she represented Monaco at the Beijing Biennale in 2008. After over twenty years of exhibiting her works and paintings in various countries such as China, Israel, France, Monaco, Germany, Japan, and New York, the artist has settled in Nice. She collaborates with architects, producing these unique pieces using her interior painting techniques. Her works are based on expressionist art, with the artist focusing on movement, gesture, and abstraction. Having lived in China for eight years, the artist observed the Chinese craftsmanship using this ancestral technique in small formats called Nei-hua and adapted it to large formats with a very contemporary result!
