Justin Hoffman Glazed Ceramic Vessel 2021
About the Item
Large abstract ceramic vessel with various shades of blue by Bay Area artist, Justin Hoffman circa 2021. Hoffman (b.1974) is an American ceramic artist and painter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His work constantly shifts between sculpture, vessel, and three-dimensional objects, and is heavily influenced by the ceramic artists in Japan. Hoffman approaches each piece as he would a blank canvas, ensuring layers of depth and texture. Each piece is hand built and each form is created spontaneously in the moment. He currently works out of his private studio in Lafayette, CA.
