Roger Guérin, Exceptional Hand Crafted Decanter or Vase, Ca. 1930
By Roger Guerin
Located in Schagen, NL
Stunning Belgian decanter by Roger Guérin, who was clearly inspired by Picasso when making this piece. The Decanter was Labeled 'Guérin Bouffioulx' and dates from circa 1930. It has an incised signature and number to the base and is offered in very good condition. Outstanding and Rare piece! True to the history of his region, he often worked in a type of hard ceramic (fired at a temperature of more than 1250 degrees Celsius), which had been made there since the late Middle Ages. Guèrin exhibited his work at the 1925 and 1937 Paris...

By Charles Catteau for Boch Freres
Located in Oakland, CA
Boch Freres ceramics made during the Charles Catteau period are very desirable. This modernist shape is simple, completed in solid blue-turquoise color outlining a very desirable shape.
