Antique Bohemian Cranberry Cut To Clear Crystal Decanter

A substantial, fine quality antique Bohemian cranberry-cut-to-clear crystal decanter. Featuring a beautiful color combination of cranberry red / pink and colorless crystal, with stunning cut and exceptional etched decoration. Exquisitely handmade, likely in Bohemia (present day Czech Republic), dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, retaining the original thirteen sided cranberry and colorless crystal stopper with deep etched scroll flourish, atop the heavy, oversized, faceted crystal body fitted with silver plate collar, displaying luxurious paneled sides embellished with whimsical naturalistic scence of leaping stag deer and artistic etched designs. Unsigned, typical of the period. A superb example of functional art. Whether used as a liquor decanter, wine bottle, table centerpiece, or simply displayed as a stunning sculptural object, this remarkable antique glassware is sure to add a touch of refined sophistication and grace, romantic warmth, luxury, and timeless elegance to any space!
