19th C. English Majolica Seaweed Oyster Plate, S. Fielding & Co

About the Item

A 19th c English oyster plate with six-well majolica glazed oyster plate by Fielding & Co. Ltd., Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1875-1880.. Cream oyster wells surround a center well and light turquoise seaweed. A light chocolate brown nautical rope border encircles the center well and the outer rim. The verso is glazed with six raised scallop shell shaped feet. Stamped on the bottom. Dimensions are 9.25" diameter and 1" high. Good condition with no chips no hairline noted. #SMDC 71
