Handmade large figurine with Delft Blue handpainted painting of Vermeer Girl with the Pearl Earring.
This year, Royal Delft is introducing the Vermeer collectibles by Royal Delft, putting the 17th-century master Johannes Vermeer in the spotlight. Royal Delft joins in with the Rijksmuseum which is exhibiting the largest overview of Vermeer for the first time in history. The limited edition Proud Mary – Girl with a Pearl Earring is the Delft Blue showpiece from the Vermeer Collectibles collection. This iconic item is handmade in the studio in Delft. Subsequently, the master painter of Royal Delft applied the beautiful painting of the Girl with a Pearl Earring. The original shape of Proud Mary was designed by Chris Koens and Ramon Middelkoop. Inspired and named after one of the greatest Delft Blue collectors of the Golden Age: Mary the 2nd. The limited edition Proud Mary is made in limited numbers and has a delivery time of 11-12 weeks. The item comes with a certificate of authenticity.
