Matched Pair of Antique 18th Century English Delft Plates with Peonies

A pair of fine English Delft plates Both plates have chinoiserie decoration with rock, flowers, bamboo decoration. Likely from Bristol, England. Simply a wonderful pair of flower themed English Delft plates! Date: Mid to Late 18th Century Overall Condition They are in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There are hairline cracks to both plates. There is some staining to the reverse of one. Both plates have typical & expected chips, fritting and glaze losses to the rims and edges. Otherwise, there are very few fine and light surface scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Delft (possibly Bristol) Measurements: Height: ca. 1 in. Diameter: ca. 9 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you.
